Please be advised that effective 3rd January 2022, DOHA BANK – UAE Branches will process partial payment of cheque(s) which has/have been returned due to insufficient funds in the account.
Partial payment can be done upon the request of the beneficiary / beneficiaries, to whom the cheque amount is payable.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Partial payments can be processed for cheque returned due to insufficient funds.
- Only DOHA BANK – UAE Branches issued cheque(s) will be processed by the bank. For non-DOHA BANK issued cheque(s), please visit the cheque issuing bank to process your partial payment.
- Beneficiaries holding the DOHA BANK – UAE Branches cheques can approach the teller counter at any DOHA BANK UAE branches for processing the partial payment.
The following documents are required to process the partial payment:
- Returned cheque (original).
- Original Emirates ID / Passport.
A processing fee of 5.25 (inclusive of 5% VAT) will be charged to the cheque issuer for each partial payment.
